Get out of the Stock Market and into Real Estate

Self Directed IRAs allow you to convert your stock portfolio to real estate.  The IRA tax rules apply and there are specific rules regarding use and benefits.  There are many companies and tax attorney that specialize in this type of conversion.  Generally, you have a self-directed IRA LLC.  This LLC has checkbook control, limited custodian fees and additional investment opportunities.  You are allowed to buy rental property and manage it yourself within specific guidelines.

The current real estate market provides an opportunity to purchase many outstanding properties at below market prices.  You may purchase rental property at this time and convert it to homestead property at a later date.  The same tax rules would apply at the conversion as typical withdrawals from a traditional IRA.
