Port Aransas has been named "America's Birdiest City" in the small coastal city division.  This is the first win for Port Aransas.  Local birders joined out of town birders to compile the list in a 72 hour period on April 24-26.  Corpus Christi was named Largest Coastal City Division winner for the eighth year in a row and Nueces County was named the Birdiest Coastal County with 262 different species recorded.  Read more about the competition at www.portaransas.org or www.portasouthjetty.com.
